From the staff at Renzulli Learning, and of course, Joe and Sally –
Have a happy, safe, and engaging holiday break!
Welcome Back! Hope everyone had a great break.
i go to have fun this week
Happy New Year to you, too. Sorry about your shoulder. Let’s go to lunch.
what is this im going to your lunch and ruining it.
Dear Joe and Sally,
I wanted to make you aware of my educational web site, MakeBeliefsComix.com, which is used by many educators throughout the world to encourage literacy, reading and storytelling among their students.
The site allows users to create their own comic strips online. It offers fun characters with different emotions to choose from, blank talk and thought balloons to fill in with text, story and writing prompts and printables. Google and UNESCO selected it as among the world’s most innovative sites to encourage literacy.
I am hoping that you both might take a look at it, try it out, and consider sharing with your constituency.
I am an author of about 20 books that are used by schools around the world to help young people express themselves through writing and drawing (you can see excerpts on my billztreasurechest.com site.
My daughter attebded Hunter College Elementary School which used Renzulli methods. I would be very honored to be associated with your group in some way. For many years I was a senior editor at Newsday newspaper where I created a nationally syndicated interactive page to teach students about current events. Thanks for your attention.
Yours sincerely,
Bill Zimmerman
